‘The Princess Bride’ Is Headed To Broadway
What was once thought to be inconceivable is one step closer to becoming reality. The 1987 comedy classic The Princess Bride is headed to Broadway.
Adapting Rob Reiner’s beloved film for the stage was first talked about in 2007. However, negotiations went nowhere. But twelve years later, significant progress has been made. Scriptwriters and a composer have been hired to turn the epic romance of Westley and Buttercup into a musical.

No word yet on when The Princess Bride will make its debut on the Great White Way. (Just take our money now!) In the meantime, here are some things you may not have known about the original movie:
