There's some sort of light shining on the horizon. Is it a festive holiday display? No! It's the one place that can bail you out of your Yuletide predicament because it's the only place that's still open: the gas station.
As long as there are gas stations, there will always be a place for ECSPs (Extreme Christmas Shopping Procastinators) to find something that can be useful and perhaps even enjoyed by a loved one. Heck, it beats showing up empty-handed on December 25th. Here are some can't-miss last-minute gift ideas to look for when you're filling up your tank:
- Assortment of jerky (Almost as good as a Hickory Farms platter.)
- Batteries (For the better gifts they receive.)
- Bottle of budget-friendly wine (Have you tried the Circle K Chardonnay?)
- Car air freshener 3-pack (The pine trees look Christmas-y.)
- Gift basket of automotive fluids (Motor oil, fuel additive, anti-freeze.)
- Lottery tickets (Get them more than one, big spender.)
- Premium wiper blades (Spring for the good ones.)
- Sack o' sundries (Lip balm, playing cards, antacids, comb.)
- "Sugar & Spice" sampler (M&M's, Skittles, and Flamin' Hot Cheetos.)
- Sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen (You still won't be invited to their beach house.)
