Jelly Donut With Frank’s RedHot Is Why Food Mash-Ups Need To Stop
UGH! WHAT is with the crazy food mash-ups? Over it! I’m a big fan of Dunkin’…love their donuts but this is a big no from me.
Frank’s RedHot has teamed up with Dunkin’ to create a hot sauce-covered jelly donut. There are two good things about this: it’s only available in Florida, and it’s only available for a limited time.
The Frank’s RedHot Jelly Donut was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the hot sauce. Apparently the Dunkin’ folks tried numerous combinations until they came up with the “perfect” mix.
The Frank’s RedHot Jelly Donut features a yeast donut shell that’s filled with apple and raspberry-flavored jelly, topped with white icing and drizzled with Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce. That said, even though you can’t get these in Charlotte, you can probably come up with your own.

IF you do, you gotta let us know how it is. Maybe Phil & I need to try this for “Freaky Food Friday” this week. I’m just not sure my stomach is ready for it. Guess the tagline for Frank’s RedHot is true: they put that s**t on EVERYTHING. Ugh!
