Board Games Are Helping Families “Stay At Home”
With so many people either quarantined or living under “Stay at Home” orders, families are getting a lot of together time. A LOT. That’s why the board game is back in a big way!
Amazon’s has a list of their best-selling board games and some of the classics rank right at the top. I’m talking Guess Who, Battleship, Connect 4, The Game of Life, and Mel’s favorite, Candyland.
At my house, we’ll be playing a lot of Uno and, if I can convince anyone, Scrabble. I’m a word beast. Amazon’s list also includes more complex role-playing and strategy games, such as Catan and Villainous. There’s even a game called Pandemic in Amazon’s top 100.
As far as ordering a new game for your family safely amid the real pandemic, Amazon is still taking orders, but they’re prioritizing essential deliveries. You may also be able to get some of these games through curbside pickup at brick-and-mortar stores like Target and Barnes & Noble.
