Bill Withers Was As Understated On Stage As In Life
On the list of performers I wish I had seen in concert, the late Bill Withers is near the top. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer passed away from heart complications on Friday (4/2/2020) at the age of 81.
Bill Withers’ recordings are timeless, and his live performances, especially in the 1970s, were beautifully understated. That’s how he lived his life, preferring family over fame.
