Pennsylvania Clinic Providing Coronavirus Testing For Amish Residents
My home state of Pennsylvania has around 15,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases. The other day, I saw this on Twitter:

The tweet is meant as a joke but Pennsylvania is home to many Amish and Mennonite communities who are especially at risk for contracting the virus. Ironically, it’s because of their isolated way of life. However, their isolation has more to do with a lack of exposure to news media than isolation through social distancing.
CNN reports that a clinic in Belleville, PA has begun offering coronavirus testing for nearby Amish residents. They’ve set up a drive-thru testing site designed for horse-and-buggies. The Central Pennsylvania Clinic is also to trying educate the Amish people about the risks associated with gathering for church services, weddings, funerals, or even barn raisings at this time.
