This Siberian Husky Is Every Dog Who’s Had Enough Quarantine Walks
My Australian Shepherd, Cali, loves walks. Well, she used to love them. I’m starting to get the feeling that she’s tolerating them more than truly enjoying them. For one thing, Cali is 14-years-old. She’s getting up there. But there’s another reason.
Since the “Stay-At-Home” order went into effect, dogs and their humans have had a lot more time together. I still come to the office but my wife and sons are at home all the time now. When they start feeling antsy, they take Cali for a walk. Then I come home and feel like stretching my legs. Guess what. That’s another walk for Cali. I think we might be burning her out.
When I saw this video of Zeus the Stubborn Siberian Husky, I felt like understood my own dog a little more. Zeus’ human tries to coax him into a walk, but he’s not having it. I haven’t seen Cali hide in the bathtub yet, but that could be her next move.
