Well, that’s it! People are officially bored with staying at home. The proof is the increase in members of this odd Facebook group. It’s one of the strangest Facebook groups ever created while also being one of the most popular. It has 1.8 million members and it’s a group where everyone pretends to be ants in an ant colony and worshiping their queen. Yup.
The group was created in June of 2019 and by March of 2020, it had grown to approximately 100,000 members. When the pandemic hit the number of members shot up to over a million in less than two months. The total number of members now is about 1.8 million and the group is growing daily.
In the group, members are ants. The members focus on helping the colony, and above all, worship the Queen. I do like that one of the rules of the group is that members cannot discuss politics. THIS may be the big appeal! Lord knows we all get sick of seeing political posts on Facebook.
