N.C. City Among Best Places To See Fall Foliage
Summer is over, the pandemic isn’t, and we have to suffer through six more weeks of election ads. But the good news is that the fall colors are coming and driving to the mountains is something we can still do during Phase 2.5.
USA Today has come out with a list of the top ten destinations for viewing fall foliage, based on feedback from their readers. Asheville, NC received some votes, as did another spot within a few hours of Charlotte. Gatlinburg, TN is #2 on the list:

- Door County, Wisconsin

- Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania
- Finger Lakes in New York
- Asheville, North Carolina
