America’s Favorite Cereal Brands Based On Generation
In a survey from Best SEO Companies, over one thousand Americans were asked to vote for their all-time favorite cereal brand. I wasn’t surprised by the #1 choice, but I discovered I may have been born in the wrong generation.
Honey Nut Cheerios takes the crown as America’s favorite cereal. It’s especially popular with Baby Boomers, along with Raisin Bran, Rice Crispies, and Cookie Crisp. The survey shows that Gen X, my generation, prefers Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, and Frosted Mini-Wheats. And Millennials lean toward Frosted Flakes, Cap’n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Apple Jacks, and Fruity Pebbles.
I may have a bit of an identity crisis on my hands. Based on this survey, I’m really more of a Baby Boomer when it comes to my taste in cereal. I’d much rather have Honey Nut Cheerios, or even regular Cheerios, than the sweeter cereals favored by my fellow Gen Xers. Here’s the overall ranking:
