WATCH: Attention-Seeking Seal Pesters Diver

The resemblance between seals and dogs is uncanny. Just look at their faces. But the two species also have some behavioral similarities.

The attention-seeking seal in the video below reminds me so much of my Australian Shepherd. When Cali wants you to focus on her, she won’t stop nudging and staring until you look at her and start scratching behind those ears. If you take you hand off for even a second, Cali will assert herself again. She can be relentless.

Watch how the seal sneaks up on the diver, starts nuzzling, and then puts his flipper paws on him. Apparently, the seal also has a taste for neoprene wetsuits!
