Pet Food Company Releases Christmas Song For Dogs
Does your dog respond to certain sounds or even music? If you’re not sure, here’s a chance to find out.
USA Today reports that British pet food company Tails.com has released the first-ever Christmas song produced specifically for dogs. It’s called “Raise the Woof” and was created with the help of a veterinarian and dog behaviorist.
The company describes the song as “waggae…reggae designed to wag tails.” In addition to the rhythm and melody, “Raise the Woof” is peppered with verbal cues and squeaky sounds that dogs typically find appealing. It’s considerably more complex than those dogs barking “Jingle Bells.”
Fun fact about this song: it was recorded at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios. You know, where the Beatles created their masterpieces. They were known to put a few sound effects in their songs, too.
Of course, “Raise the Woof” has an official music video. Hit play below and see what your pooch thinks.
