Knife-Wielding Squirrel Caught On Camera

I hope this is merely an example of the amazing advancements in smartphone camera technology. If not, we could be in serious trouble.

A woman in Toronto, Canada recently captured something quite out of the ordinary with her smartphone. Andrea Diamond said she was at her home when she noticed a knife-wielding squirrel in the backyard. Apparently, the small animal decided to pick up a paring knife Andrea had left outside. The squirrel looks pretty comfortable with it in his tiny paws. It’s almost as though he has done this sort of thing before.

Ms. Diamond posted the video on Twitter, where it quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views. No filters or special effects; just raw footage of an animal gnawing on a knife. Andrea’s caption? “So apparently knife wielding squirrels are a thing now.” Yeah.
