“Chance of Rain” May Not Mean What You Think?

We’ve heard it for years. “The chance of rain is ______%” A recent TikTok video reveal that the “% chance of rain” in a weather forecast doesn’t mean exactly what we all thought. The best way to understand what this means as we ALL depend on the weather to plan our lives, is to hear it from a real meteorologist. If you look below the meteorologist explanation, you’ll see the viral video that is creating lots of on-line interest. I know I’ve taken “30% chance of rain” literally as it may or may not rain at all. Once you hear the explanation, will you prepare for weather differently?
