National Pretzel Day Would Not Be Complete Without A Visit To Dunder Mifflin
Today (4/26) is National Pretzel Day. I like to think that somewhere, Leslie David Baker is enjoying a fresh, hot pretzel with all of his favorite toppings.
Leslie David Baker is, of course, the actor who played the crossword puzzle-loving paper salesman Stanley Hudson on the iconic sitcom The Office. And as any fan knows, Stanley’s favorite day of the year at Dunder Mifflin was, in fact, Pretzel Day.
For a good portion of this episode from Season 3, Stanley and Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) stand in line to get their annual free pretzel, courtesy of the building’s management. That’s when Stanley explains that for all of the things in his work life he doesn’t like, Pretzel Day is one shining moment that makes it all worthwhile.

Here’s hoping you find a little joy in your workday, too, whether it’s in the form of a tasty pretzel or just a couple of minutes with the gang from Scranton.
