Orangutan Is Stylin’ After Picking Up Zoo Visitor’s Sunglasses
When you go to the zoo, please don’t feed the animals, don’t tap on the glass (they hate that), and try not to drop anything in the enclosures. That being said, one zoo visitor captured video gold after dropping something of hers in an orangutan habitat.
A woman visiting a zoo in Indonesia accidentally dropped her sunglasses in the enclosure for the orangutans. One curious ape wandered over to investigate. The orangutan picked up the sunglasses, gave them a sniff, and immediately tried them on!
This primate really seemed to enjoy modeling the stylish shades. Hey, everyone likes to be fashionable, right? The orangutan wouldn’t let her baby even touch them. And then, just like that, the adult orangutan grew bored with the sunglasses and tossed them. Fickle…which just goes to show how much apes and humans really are alike.
