Little Girl Inspired By Olympic Gymnastics In Her Living Room
I remember being inspired by Carl Lewis and the entire U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team during the 1984 Olympic Summer Games in Los Angeles. Every day, I would watch them on TV and then go to the nearby schoolyard and attempt to run faster and jump farther. The key word there is “attempt.” But I suppose that’s how Olympic dreams are born.
Fast forward to 2021 and the Tokyo Olympics. A little girl named Chloe caught “floor routine fever” while watching the gymnastics coverage on TV. According to one of her parents, “She doesn’t do just one floor routine, she does every floor routine with every gymnast competing.”
Chloe’s family shared her budding attempts to capture Olympic gold on Instagram. You can take a look below. Could we be seeing Chloe on TV in the summer of 2036?
