Move Over, White Claw. Here Comes Hard Mountain Dew!
Before it became the name of the popular citrus-flavored soda, “Mountain Dew” was a centuries-old slang term for moonshine, so it seems like this should have happened already. Hard Mountain Dew… er, I mean, Hard Mtn Dew is about to become a thing.

According to Nerdist, PespiCo and the Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams) have announced their plans to produce the first-ever alcohol-laced version of the iconic soft drink. Hard Mountain Dew will contain 5% ABV and come in three flavors: Original, Black Cherry, and Watermelon. All three flavors will have zero sugar added.
You should be able to find Hard Mountain Dew on store shelves some time in early 2022. White Claw and all those other boozy seltzers may get a run for their money.
