Squirrel Is Too Smart For “Squirrel-Proof” Bird Feeder

I have four bird feeders in my yard. For the most part, it’s birds that frequent them. But every now and then, a crafty squirrel will invite itself to the buffet.
Some squirrels are either too young and inexperienced to get to the food, or they’re just out of shape. You can see a perfect example of the latter HERE.

Other squirrels are remarkably adept at getting around so-called squirrel-proof bird feeders. I say if a squirrel can conquer the challenge and get to the food, then they deserve it. Watch as this critter uses its woodland ninja skills to make child’s play of a slinky meant to keep it away:
