Charlotte Checkers Treating Fans To 1950s Ticket Prices
The Charlotte Checkers are taking their fans back to when professional hockey was first played in the Queen City and everything cost a lot less. During Throwback Week, the team is offering 1950’s pricing on tickets for their game against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Tuesday, January 18th. According to the Checkers website, all tickets will only cost $1.25 for the 7:00 PM game.
Throwback Week will continue with concession specials for Thursday’s 7:00 PM rematch with Springfield. Hot dogs, popcorn, and soda will cost just $1 each. Thursday’s game is also one of the Checkers’ college nights, so students can get best available tickets for only $18 with their valid college email address.
The Charlotte Checkers are one of the Queen City’s best entertainment values even when they aren’t doing special promotions, and Bojangles Coliseum is a terrific venue for hockey. There are plenty of home games left this season. You can see the schedule HERE.
