Brewery Teams Up With Squatty Potty To Create Cancer Awareness Beer
March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and a brewery in Maryland is teaming with Squatty Potty to raise awareness and money. You’re familiar with Squatty Potty, right? It’s the foot stool that helps you poop!
To increase awareness about colorectal cancer, DuClaw Brewing Company has created a new beer called “Give a Crap.” The Baltimore-based brewery has partnered with Squatty Potty to release the limited-edition sour ale, brewed with blueberry, black currant, and vanilla.
According to WMAR-TV, a portion of the proceeds from sales of “Give a Crap” will benefit the Colon Cancer Foundation. Colorectal cancer is one of the deadliest cancers. However, if caught early, it’s very treatable. Each can will have a QR code so you can read educational info on how to prevent the cancer.
The beer can will be easy to spot. It’s white with a rainbow poo emoji on it. See below. DuClaw Brewing Company’s products are sold at stores all over the Charlotte area. Use their Beer Finder to help you locate one near you.
It’s Colon Cancer Awareness Month & the Give A Crap campaign is back and bluer than ever with a new blueberry beer🍻💙
