Popeyes Is Getting Saucy With Another Chicken Sandwich
Two years after essentially winning the chicken sandwich war, Popeyes is back with a new spin on their very popular Classic Chicken Sandwich and Spicy Chicken Sandwich. According to Chew Boom, the fast food chain has introduced the new Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich.
The new menu item features Popeyes’ signature hand-battered breaded chicken on a buttery brioche bun with barrel cured pickles. And then there’s the sauce — a creamy herb buttermilk ranch dressing blended with a zesty and buttery buffalo sauce. The question is, does the pickle still taste like chicken?
In a statement, Popeyes president Sami Siddiqui said, “Two years ago, our Chicken Sandwich reintroduced the world to our chicken mastery, and we have not stopped innovating since. We have a lot of fun experimenting with new flavors in our test kitchen, and this Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich is one I’m especially excited to bring to our guests.”
Don’t sleep on this one. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich is available in-restaurant and for delivery starting at a suggested price of $4.99, but only for a limited time at participating locations.
