Crayola IDEAWORKS A Hit for All Ages
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a media screening of CRAYOLA IDEAWORKS which is now open for a limited engagement in Charlotte at Camp North End off Statesville Avenue. You may recall that was also the location of The Van Gogh exhibit that was here last year.
Everyone will love this interactive and immersive experience but toddlers and above will enjoy it most as this is SO interactive. Babies will enjoy the colors but my 8-year-old grandsons absolutely loved it! They’ve already asked to go back when it’s not a school night and they can stay longer. For the adults, it’s also mesmerizing. It begins with fans walking the rainbow carpet to the entrance and into a color maze that takes you into a room where you get a bracelet which you can and assign yourself an “ICON” that follows you on the screens as you experience the various experiences stations.
The Experience
There you answer questions, solve puzzles and scan your bracelet as you complete each task. The pictures below best explain just how cool and colorful this is. I felt like I was at a Disney exhibit as to the quality of the visitor experience. Don’t let this exhibit leave town before you get to see it. Crayola has been synonymous with color our whole lives so it’s a trusted brand and does NOT disappoint.
