“The Gray Man”: Big Screen Action On NETFLIX
An All Star cast, non-stop action and a great story make “The Gray Man” worth every second of the 2 hour and 04 minute run time. Ryan Gosling stars as a convict, circa 2003 who won’t be eligible for parole until 2033 for a murder he committed. The film opens with he and CIA agent Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton) sitting in a prison visiting room where Fitzroy offers Gosling (whose name we’re never told) is offered to have his sentence commuted if he becomes an assassin for the CIA’s new “Sierra” program. Now, we jump 18 years later and “Sierra 6” (Gosling) is in the field trying to complete a mission and retrieve a flash drive with “sensitive” agency info on it. Fitzroy (Thornton) has retired and the new boss is not a fan of the “Sierra” program.
This is a thrill ride of a film and could easily do business on the Big Screen.
