Try This Playlist To Keep Your Dog Calm In The Car
If your dog hates car rides and traveling stresses them out, just crank up the tunes. But make sure they’re the right tunes. According to Study Finds, certain music can calm dogs in cars.
Two in three pet owners say their dogs get anxious while traveling by car. With nearly 75-percent of people taking Rover on road trips, that could be a problem. Luckily, senior lecturer of music at the University of West London, Sam Sutton, has put together the perfect playlist for your pooch.
A University of Glasgow study which looked into how music can affect a dog’s mood helped Sutton create the playlist. The researchers found that dogs calmed down best to soft rock and reggae. Artists on the list include the Bee Gees, Bob Marley, UB40, and Sade. Sutton even came up with a list of songs to avoid playing while your dog is in the car, which you can see HERE.
