Sneakers For Horses Are The Latest In ‘Stable Style’
If you thought buying high end sneakers for babies and toddlers was over the top, your head is about to explode. Sneakers for horses are something that actually exist. They’re called Horse Kicks and they are created from well-known human models like Air Jordans, Yeezy Boosts, or New Balance 650s. According to CNET, the price is $1,200…per shoe.
Horse Kicks are the brainchild of Kentucky-based sneaker customizing expert, Marcus Floyd. He’s basically repurposing the originals and creating fashionable horseshoes that meet the unique ergonomics of horse hooves. Through a process of deconstruction and reconstruction, Floyd has created several pairs of equine sneakers that retain the signature elements of the popular brands
For the official launch of Horse Kicks, Marcus Floyd has put together several styles for the Fall 2022 season. Custom Horse Kicks are available for order on the company’s website. But if you prefer to see something in person before buying it, Floyd will have a booth at this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 4th and 5th.
