Wendy’s Is Saluting Active Military And Veterans With Breakfast
Veterans Day is this Friday, November 11th, and many restaurants are offering complimentary meals to those who have served our country. Wendy’s has joined the list.
According to Restaurant News Release, Wendy’s is thanking those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Military with a free breakfast combo offer on Veterans Day. The offer includes the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, or the ever-popular Breakfast Baconator combo.
As it turns out, Wendy’s was started by a veteran. The fast food chain’s founder, Dave Thomas, joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18 and served for two and a half years during the Korean War before returning home in 1953.
To take advantage of the free breakfast offer, active military members and veterans just need to show a valid military ID or a Veterans Advantage card. Visit a participating Wendy’s location on Friday, November 11th, from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
