Bride Pooped On While Exchanging Vows
This could not have been on the list of “Fantasy Wedding Day” for this Florida bride. Beautiful day for an outdoor wedding? Check. My dress looking fabulous with me in it? Check. Handsome man who loves me ready to say, “I Do?” Check. Ok, deep breath, time to say my vows. Then, instead of ‘I _____ take you _____” what the ceremony witnesses hear is, “Did I just get s**t on?!”
Oh my. Captured forever on video and now immortalized on TikTok. What a nightmare. I mean, what do you do at that point? If you’re the groom, what do you say? Well, we have that answer. This guy’s move? “I don’t know.” Alas, this dude’s a keeper. There are not three words that will serve him better in marriage than those.
To the couple’s credit, they took it in stride (as best you can, I guess). As the wedding guests begin to laugh, she can be heard saying the obvious, “Are you kidding me?” Then, the one misstep by the groom, “It smells.” Dude, it’s bad enough that your bride just got crapped on, literally, on her day, but no bride EVER wants to hear she’s odiferous in a bad way.
Is this a sign? Only time will tell. Definitely a tough break to have to put the “worse” part in “for better or worse” in play on day one though, right?
The Best Cities To Get (And Stay!) Married In Are Not In North Carolina
The 2022 Wedding Season is in full swing. In fact, I just returned from one I was at this weekend. But as someone who seems to be perpetually single, I’m always looking for something to blame that on. And I found something. LawnStarter ranked 2022’s Best Cities to Get (and Stay) Married and North Carolina has none near the top. In fact, only one is in the Top 50 percent. The rest are all around the 100 mark in a ranking of 196 cities.
So if not NC where should you settle down for the best chance at a happily ever after? Hope you’re ready to switch coasts for many of them. If you want to stay in the south Atlanta or Orlando will have to do.
But where did these rankings come from? LawnStarter “compared 190 of the biggest U.S. cities across nine key indicators of nuptial success — from current marriage rates to 5-year divorce rate comparisons to wedding-venue access.”
Check out where each of the North Carolina cities ranked as well as the top 10 nationwide. No judgment from me if you choose to move since the best cities to get married in are not in North Carolina.
