Humane Society Of Charlotte Hosting ‘Pet Palooza 2023’ This Spring
Pet Palooza, the Humane Society of Charlotte’s annual fundraising walk and community festival, returns this spring. It’s happening Saturday, April 1st from 11 am to 3 pm at the recently opened HSC Animal Resource Center, 1348 Parker Drive in Charlotte.
For over 25 years, Pet Palooza has been a major part of the Humane Society’s fundraising efforts. In addition to the dog walk, the event features live music, food trucks, pet-minded vendors, and fun for the entire family.
While the festival is free to attend, you must register with a $10 donation to participate in the 3/4 mile walk. You can start a team, walk solo, or simply make a donation. The HSC is hoping to raise over $145,000 this year. If you raise at least $75, you’ll get a Pet Palooza t-shirt and swag for your dog. Your $10 donation counts towards your $75 fundraising goal.
You could even win prizes for raising the most money for the Humane Society of Charlotte. There are prizes for the Top Adult Fundraiser (13+), Top Youth Fundraiser (12 and under), and Top Fundraising Team. The famous Pet Palooza Costume Contest is also back this year. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Pet and Best Human/Pet Look Alikes.
