Charlotte Knights Celebrating Pretzel Night With Stanley From ‘The Office’
It’s almost time to throw out the first pitch and play ball! Single game tickets for the Charlotte Knights 2023 season are now on sale. Opening Day is Friday, March 31st. The team has also released its schedule of upcoming promotions.
The Knights always do a great job with their promotional events. This season’s schedule includes plenty of their ever-popular “Bark in the Ballpark” games when you can bring your dog to Truist Field. Those will be on 4/2, 5/17, 7/6, 9/6, and 9/13.
There’s also a long list of special theme nights such as Singles Night (4/13), Women in Sports Night (4/25), Dino Day (5/12), Racing Night (5/3), Star Wars Night (6/2), Video Game Night (6/24), ’80s Night (7/6), Princess Day (7/9), ’90s Night (7/20), Faith & Family Night (7/25), Wizard Night (8/11), Marvel Night (8/12), Pirate Night (8/13), and ’60s Night (9/7).
Then there are the celebrity appearances. The Charlotte Knights will be welcoming several familiar faces to Truist Field as part of their 2023 Celeb Series, including:
- Former Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis (4/27)
- Seinfeld actor Phil Morris (Jackie Chiles) on Show About Nothing Night (5/11)
- Former Major League pitcher Goose Gossage (5/16)
- The Office actor Leslie David Baker (Stanley Hudson) on Pretzel Night (5/19)
- Former Atlanta Braves outfielder Andruw Jones (8/10)
I’m especially looking forward to Leslie David Baker’s appearance for Pretzel Night on May 19th. Of course, the Charlotte Knights will be playing the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. To promote the event, the Knights enlisted their beloved mascot, Homer, to recreate Stanley’s “Pretzel Day” monologue from The Office. Check it out:
