Best Of The Best: Krispy Kreme Rolls Out ‘Fan Favs’ Doughnut Collection
It’s like an all-star game for sweet treats. Or maybe it’s more like the tastiest greatest hits album ever! In either case, North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme has brought back four popular doughnuts for its first-ever “Fan Favs” collection.
According to Chew Boom, the four delectable doughnuts in the “Fan Favs” collection were some of Krispy Kreme’s best-selling limited edition flavors over the past five years. A couple of them are based on classic Southern desserts:
- Banana Pudding Doughnut: filled with Banana Pudding Kreme filling, hand-dipped in yellow icing, and decorated with white Kreme and vanilla wafer cookies.
- Key Lime Pie Doughnut: filled with Key Lime Kreme filling, hand-dipped in lime green icing and topped with graham cracker crumb pieces.
- Chocolate Kreme Pie Doughnut: filled with Chocolate Custard Kreme filling, hand-dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with a Kreme dollop and mini chocolate chip pieces.
- Strawberries & Kreme Doughnut: filled with Strawberry & Kreme™ filling, hand-dipped in strawberry icing and decorated with swirls of white icing.
You can grab the four “Fan Favs” at participating Krispy Kreme locations. They’re also showing up in 6-packs at supermarkets (incl. Food Lion, Publix, Walmart) that have Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered fresh every day. The “Fan Favs” will be around until mid-June, which means you’ll be able to enjoy them for National Doughnut Day! Read more about that below.
