Chipotle Is Giving Away Thousands Of Burritos During The NBA Finals
Game One of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat is in the books. Denver cooled off the Heat with an impressive 104-93 victory on Thursday night(6/1). But the Nuggets weren’t the only winners because Chipotle gave away thousands of free burritos to basketball fans watching the game.
Chipotle has launched their new “Free-Pointer” promotion during the 2023 NBA Finals. The chain is giving away free burritos every time a player from either team makes a three-point shot during the best-of-seven series. Each time someone hits a three-pointer, Chipotle drops 300 free burritos via Twitter.
In the first game alone, 21 three-pointers were made. That adds up to 6,300 free burritos. According to their media release, Chipotle will give away up to 10,500 free burritos, or 35 three-pointers-worth, per game. Want to get in on it? Here are the specifics:
- When the players in the series make a three-point shot (up to 35 per game), Chipotle will drop a text-to-win code via a tweet from @ChipotleTweets on Twitter, so make sure you follow them.
- The first 300 fans to text the designated code to 888222 will receive a free burrito or regularly priced entrée, subject to availability, through June 30th. Chipotle will give away up to 10,500 free entrees per game.
- Ordinary text and data rates will apply. Valid in the U.S. only. Cannot be combined with any other offers. For complete details, visit https://www.chipotle.com/freepointer.
The NBA Finals continue with Game Two on Sunday (6/4) at 8:00 p.m. Let’s hope Denver and Miami drain plenty of threes!
