This Robot Vacuum Accessory Drops Dog Treats While It Sucks Up Dirt
Did you know that it’s Pet Appreciation Week (6/4-6/10)? If you didn’t get your dog a card, there’s something else you might want to bring home for them. There are lots of ways to spoil your pet, but this could actually help them. And it might even make cleaning up pet hair easier for you.
We all know that dogs have, at best, a strained relationship with vacuum cleaners. In some cases, it’s an all-out terrifying trial for a dog to hear the whir of the vacuum come on in the house. So the techs at iRobot came up with something that could finally lead to a truce in the eternal war between canines and vacuum cleaners.
According to Gizmodo, the iRobot engineers have created a device that attaches to your Roomba vacuum and dispenses dog treats as it travels the floor in search of dirt. This could change everything! For the first time in history, dogs and vacuums could actually be friends instead of enemies.
This revolutionary accessory is called the “Tasty Reward Emission Apparatus Thingy,” or “T.R.E.A.T.” It isn’t for sale yet, but interested people that have a dog and a Roomba in the U.S. and Canada can apply to test a prototype. Think about it. Your family could be on the cutting edge of canine-vacuum relations. Find out how to apply here.
