Is This McDonald’s Super Secret Menu Item For Real?
Alright, McDonald’s fans, prepare to have your mind blown. Apparently, there is a super secret menu item that you can get at the Golden Arches, but only for a few precious minutes each day. It may be the perfect excuse to take a mid-morning break from work.
TikToker Tommy Winkler, who also goes by “The Food Guy,” posted a video about something informally named the “McBrunch Burger.” No, you’ve never seen it on a McDonald’s menu or in any of the fast food chain’s commercials. The “McBrunch Burger” consists of:
- Two cheeseburger patties
- Eggs
- Bacon
- Hash brown
- Sesame seed bun

When it comes to getting a “McBrunch Burger,” timing is everything. You can only order it around 10:35 a.m. Why is it only available for that brief sliver of time each day? Because that’s when your friendly neighborhood Mickey D’s shifts from breakfast to lunch mode, so they have items from both menus available at that particular moment.
Tommy Winkler went to a McDonald’s during the key time of day when breakfast and lunch are available at the same time. In his TikTok, we see Winkler pulling up to the drive-thru at exactly 10:35 a.m. and asking for the “McBrunch Burger.” After a few seconds, a McDonald’s team member tells him they’re out of scrambled eggs and offers him egg whites instead. Winkler accepts the substitution, pays $5 for the behemoth burger, and scarfs it down. It got a thumbs up from “The Food Guy.”
This Mickey D’s mashup is actually a great way to reduce food waste. If they weren’t willing to make the “McBrunch Burger” available to customers, all those leftover eggs, bacon, and hash browns might go right into the trash. It’s almost our civic duty to go and order one every day!

This Brunch Classic Is North Carolina's Favorite Comfort Food

Chicken & Waffles. Maybe I just didn’t get out much but I feel like in the last 10 years or so is when chicken & waffles became a thing. I love a good waffle and I love fried chicken. But for a while, I was very hesitant to try this combination. It just sounds so weird, mainly the syrup on fried chicken part. But as soon as I finally tried it, I get it. This combination is so good and an absolute staple on brunch menus for a reason!

Could there be a better comfort food representation of South Carolina than shrimp & grits? When this meal is good it’s GOOD. Especially in Charleston and other coastal towns. In the south we know how to really cook grits and this meal is the perfect blend.

Any combination of carbs and cheese is the perfect comfort food. And a grilled cheese certainly fits that description. Want to take it up a notch? Add bacon or another meat, tomato, or tomato soup to dip it in. I’m comforted just by the thought of this delicious meal.
