If You Like Ice Cream And Thanksgiving, Baskin Robbins Has A Tasty Treat For You
The countdown to Thanksgiving is on, and Phil and I have already found a few new Thanksgiving items to try. Trader Joe’s has a stuffing-flavored popcorn, DiGiorno has a Thanksgiving pizza, and Campbell’s has a new Chunky Turkey Soup. Now Baskin Robbins has a Thanksgiving-inspired ice cream, and it sounds tasty!
According to Yahoo Life, Baskin Robbins flavor of the month is a combo of Thanksgiving flavors. Now, don’t freak out! There’s no turkey in this creation, whew! But if you like Thanksgiving sides, you may want to try this.
‘Turkey Day Fixin’s’ is the November Flavor of the Month at Baskin Robbins and it’s a combo of Turkey Day sides. The new ice cream flavor is sweet potato combined with an autumn spice ice cream, honey cornbread pieces, and cranberry sauce swirls. It’s a warm and nostalgic bite of yummy side dishes that most of us grew up with.
I’m an ice cream fan all year round, and this sounds awesome! I think the cranberry swirls will add a bit of tartness to the sweet, so it’s not a sugar overload. I’m in for this! The ice cream is available all month, so grab some soon!
But Wait, There’s More For Turkey Day
Returning to Baskin Robbins this year is their legendary Turkey Cake. Although I’ve never tried this, I want to! In addition to being a big ice cream fan, I’m also a fan of ice cream cakes! The cake is modeled after an actual roasted turkey, and it looks perfect! Instead of being stuffed with breadcrumbs, veggies and spices, this turkey is filled with your favorite ice cream.
The Turkey Cake looks so realistic because it’s covered in a caramel praline glaze and has sugar cone legs. It looks amazing! Numerous flavors of ice cream are already spinning through my head. I’m wondering what flavor would pair best with the glaze. Vanilla is a good choice, but the new flavor for this month would go great too! The cake is so perfect for the holiday, and it will look great on your table. Kids will love it!
You can roll by your local Baskin Robbins location to give the ‘Turkey Day Fixin’s’ ice cream a try but you’ll need to pre-order your Turkey Cake. Grab all the info here.
