Many folks display Nutcracker's this time of year. A friend of mine buys a new one every year at the Southern Christmas Show. They're cute and make for a festive Christmas decoration. Now the folks at Miller Lite are giving beer drinkers their own holiday item. They've just released the 'BEERCracker' that will open a cold one for you!

According to Mashed, your holiday brews now have a new opening tool! The new Miller Lite 'BEERCracker' has hops that are shaped like the lights of a Christmas tree, and a case of beer is by his feet with a red bow around it. He's standing tall, ready to open your beer at any moment. And not only does it open beer bottles, but it also opens beer cans too!

The new 'BEERCracker' is dressed in Miller Lite's signature colors, blue and white. Covering the boots are bows that look like barley. The buttons are in the shape of hops and the hat is removable, revealing the handy beer opener. If you have a Miller Lite fan on your Christmas list, this gift is a must!

How To Get The New 'BEERCracker'

One of the biggest Miller Lite fans I know is our very own Jeff Kent! Years ago, he had a Miller Lite vending machine in his garage. It's like a soda machine except you push the Miller Lite button and a cold beer rolls out. It's awesome! He definitely needs this new 'BEERCracker'.

Even though you don't NEED a beer opener for a Miller Lite, if you know someone that loves the beer, this will look great on the mantle! Buying the new 'BEERCracker' is easy! Just hit the website on or after November 29 and you can buy it there. It'll run ya $29.95.

The beer's merch store is having a Cyber Monday sale, and you can snag everything from sweatshirts to Christmas ornaments. You can do some shopping here.

It's National Beer Day on April 7th! While beer is not my go-to drink I enjoy a cold one at a football game or outdoor summer concert. It helps sets the mood for sure. But for many many people beer is far and away their favorite adult beverage. Craft beer is taking up a larger and larger slice of the market each year. Just look at the sheer number of breweries in Charlotte. And it's more and more common for bars and restaurants to have more craft beer than domestic options. But it's still the heavy hitters that have the largest market share. With seemingly unlimited options for beer lovers, what are the most popular? And what are the most popular beers in North Carolina specifically?

Well, our friends at BetCarolina analyzed Google searches for the top 50-selling beers in the United States for the last month. They also pulled results for North Carolina. And I would have guessed Bud Light would have come in at number one. But it didn't quite make it. Also noticeable absent was my favorite beer Corona. Though it's a different import that tops the list. That's right, it's not even a domestic beer that is the most in-demand in NC.

So grab a cold one, kick back and relax, and scroll through this list of the 10 most popular beers in North Carolina. Cheers!
