Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, overcharged her by millions when he represented Kelly as her manager. According to a ruling by a California labor commissioner, obtained by People, Blackstock booked her gigs and inked deals for Kelly on The Voice, Norwegian Cruise Line, Wayfair, and as host of the Billboard Music Awards from 2018 to 2020. Clarkson, 41, filed the lawsuit against her ex, in which he has been ordered to pay her $2,641,374 for overstepping in his managerial role and unlawfully procuring deals that should've been handled by her team at Creative Artists Agency.

"Under the Talent Agencies Act (TAA), a manager, like any person without a talent agency license, cannot procure or attempt to procure employment for artists," reads the ruling. Instead, he collected the fees for booking the singer-songwriters' gigs. His earnings turned out to be $1.98 million in commissions for her role on The Voice, $208,125 for her promotional deal with Norwegian Cruise Line, $450,000 for Wayfair, and $93.30 for her multi-year contract as the Billboard Music Awards host. His legal team has filed to appeal the ruling. Though The Kelly Clarkson show host also wanted the money Blackstock, 46, received for scoring her the talk show, the labor commissioner did not agree, so Brandon keeps that commission.

As we reported, the "Stronger" singer filed for divorce back in 2020 after seven years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in March 2022, and she got the hotly-contested Montana ranch in the settlement. She also got the family pets and multiple cars like the Ford Bronco, Ford F-250, and Porsche Cayenne, as well as a flight simulator. Kelly had to pay Brandon $1.3 million and an additional $45,000 a month in child support for their two kids, River Rose and Remington Alexander. Additionally, Brandon gets $115,000 a month in spousal support, but that ends this upcoming January.

Wednesday night, Clarkson hosted NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center special. Chloe Bailey, Adam Blackstone, David Foster, Liz Gillies, Darlene Love, Seth MacFarlane, Barry Manilow, Katharine McPhee, Keke Palmer, Carly Pearce, and Manuel Turizo performed during the tree-lighting ceremony.
