National Pizza Chain Testing New Products In North Carolina And South Carolina
If you’ve gotten a little bored with the usual pizza offerings, Little Caesars is rolling out some new options. The popular national pizza chain is currently testing two particular products at select locations in the Carolinas. If you like your pizza with corners instead of round, keep reading.
According to Chew Boom, Little Caesars has been testing a new personal size Sicilian-style pizza at some of their stores in South Carolina and Virginia. The Sicilian-style pizza is a deep dish pizza, available with or without Old World pepperoni, and finished with a buttery-tasting garlic spread and Parmesan cheese crust. It sounds good and so is the price: just $3.99 for the four-piece pie.
Little Caesars is testing something considerable larger than the personal Sicilian-style pizza, too. You’ve heard of a yard of beer. How about a yard of pizza to go with it? That’s right, the pizza chain is also selling Pizza!Pizza! By The Yard at select locations in North Carolina and Virginia. The new menu item is being offered for a limited time and features a full three feet of Detroit-style deep dish pizza, divided into eight slices, and served in two boxes.
I became a big fan of Detroit-style pizza when I visited the Motor City in 2022. It’s the kind of pizza served at Emmy Squared in Plaza Midwood and South End. I find it to be less dense than Sicilian or Chicago-style deep dish pizza. If you find Pizza!Pizza! By The Yard at a Little Caesars in North Carolina, please let me know!
