Best Cancer-Fighting Fruits And Vegetables
Mom always said to eat your fruits and veggies. It turns out some are better than others at fighting certain forms of cancer.
Research shows that women who eat more than five-and-a-half servings of fruits and vegetables a day have an 11% lower risk of breast cancer than those who eat two and a half servings or fewer. Studies also find that eating more produce is linked to a lower risk of more aggressive tumors. Your best bet is with cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts; as well as yellow and orange veggies like carrots and yellow bell peppers.
