Could A Version Of ‘The Bachelor’ For Senior Citizens Bring Ratings Gold?
It looks like the producers of ABC’s The Bachelor are taking their concept to an older…um, wiser audience. During Monday’s episode, a promo aired that said the show is casting “Seniors (65+) looking for love.” That got social media, and possibly a few pacemakers, buzzing.
I think this has the potential to be a ratings winner. My wife recently became the massage therapist at a local retirement community and she says that the single women far outnumber the single men. It sounds like many retirees are already living within The Bachelor format.
There aren’t many details about this new production yet, but you can see the casting call information below. As for who should host the TV show, Betty White is the first name that comes to mind.
