UK Healthcare Workers Can Expect To Get “Rickrolled” In Person This Fall
With all due respect to the Marvel Universe, hospital and emergency personnel all over the world have proven that they’re the real superheroes. No amount of education and training could have possibly prepared them for the emotional toll of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, they’re marching to the front line of this fight every day. We owe them a debt of gratitude.
Rick Astley showed his appreciation when he announced on Twitter that he will perform a free concert for healthcare personnel in the UK when venues re-open for gatherings. The 54-year-old singer has scheduled the show for October 28th at Manchester Arena. We’re all hoping that concerts and other live events will be taking place then.
On October 28th at @ManchesterArena I’m putting on a free concert for all NHS Frontline, Primary Care Workers & All Blue Light Staff. Tickets available from Thursday 2nd of April at 7pm. https://t.co/RC9fg7gAXi @NHSuk #NHSheroes #NHS #NHSstaff #thankyouNHS (Post 1 of 2) pic.twitter.com/EzWrYkRttV
