CBS Is Bringing Back Sunday Night Movies
It has been a while since any of the major broadcast TV networks aired feature-length films on a regular basis. CBS was the last to do it with their CBS Sunday Movie. That came to an end in 2006. But with all of us spending most of our time at home now, they’re giving it another go.
Vulture reports that CBS will launch a Sunday movie night on May 3rd for a five-week trial run. The weekly lineup will feature blockbuster titles from the library of CBS sister company Paramount Pictures:
- Raiders of the Lost Ark (5/3)
- Forrest Gump (5/10)
- Mission: Impossible (5/17)
- Titanic (5/24)
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (5/31)
The movies will begin at 8:00 PM. What other flicks do you think CBS should show on their family movie night?
