Pepsi Creating ‘Cocoa’ Cola With Chocolate And Marshmallows
What do you get when you combine Pepsi with hot cocoa? I’m not really sure yet but, apparently, a lot of people want to try it.
According to Hypebeast, Pepsi ‘Cocoa’ Cola was only meant to be an attention-getting idea in a Twitter post that read “What’s sweeter than saying ‘bye’ to the worst year ever?” As a gag, the company hoped for 2,021 retweets. When they blew past that number, the folks in the Pepsi Test Kitchen decided they had to make the cola that tastes like a mug of hot cocoa.
The new drink is expected to get a limited release and the flavor is described as exactly what you think: classic Pepsi combined with chocolate and marshmallows. It should hit store shelves sometime in 2021.
