Elusive Llama Loose Again Just Hours After Being Captured In NC
A llama named Todd is making headlines in the Triad. His name should be Dr. Richard Kimble because he is proving to be quite the fugitive. According to WFMY-TV, the elusive llama has already been captured once, but Todd is on the loose again.
The High Point Police Department said Animal Control officers originally responded to a call from a resident reporting that a llama had been wandering through neighborhood yards. The officers fed Todd apples to keep him from leaving the area. Animal Control was eventually able to lasso the loose llama and to put him in a trailer.
Just hours after being taken to an animal rescue farm, the llama went on the lam for the second time. High Point Animal Control officer Holly Lackey said, “I’ve worked here for more than a decade and I’ve never seen anything like this before.” The police think Todd might be somewhere near Stokesdale now.
High Point Police caught and relocated a llama to an animal farm. A few hours later he escaped again. https://t.co/wTrPfcjman
