Journey Bringing ‘Freedom Tour’ To Charlotte

Need a holiday gift for a classic rock fan on your list? WCNC-TV reports that Journey will be coming to Charlotte in 2022. The Freedom Tour will hit 40 cities across North America and pull into Spectrum Center on Thursday, April 28th.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band still features longtime members Neil Schon, Jonathan Cain, and Deen Castronovo. Randy Jackson of American Idol fame has replaced founding Ross Valory on bass. And the amazing Arnel Pineda has served as Journey’s lead singer since 2007.

Depending on where you catch Journey’s Freedom Tour, you’ll see either Billy Idol or Toto as the opening act. It looks like Toto will be playing the Charlotte show. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 19th at 10:00 AM. A special pre-sale begins Tuesday, November 16th.  Click here for details.
