Van Leeuwen’s Mac & Cheese Ice Cream Heads To Walmart
Mel and I have eaten a lot of different foods for our “Nosh or Nasty” videos. Some good, others not. I have liked more of them than Mel has, but the one we both thought was inedible was the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese flavored ice cream. Not everyone agrees with us, though. Apparently, enough people actually liked the unusual flavor that Walmart decided to start selling it.
According to FoodSided, the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese ice cream one of seven flavors made by Brooklyn-based Van Leeuwen [Lou-in] Ice Cream that will be sold at Walmart stores across the country. The lineup also includes Wild Blueberry Shortcake, Bourbon Cherries Jubilee, Royal Wedding Cake, Hot Honey, and…wait for it…Pizza ice cream. I guess we’ll have to try that one next. There’s also a flavor called Planet Earth. Should I even ask?
If you want to try any of these favors from Van Leeuwen, you had better look for them at Walmart soon. The 10-week rotation has already started. Since the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese ice cream was so inexplicably popular, I’m guessing the other flavors will fly out of the freezers, too.
