Dog Brings An Interesting Friend Home And The Video Is Going Viral
I’ve had dogs all of my life. As an adult, I’ve had one pure blooded Jack Russell and three Jack Russel mixes. The breed likes to hunt, so I’ve had a few ‘presents’ from the dogs. Once my pure-bred Jack Russell Gypsy brought me a family of dead rabbits. I freaked! Another time, my Jack mix Maxwell brought me a bird. I still have no clue how he caught the thing. Luckily, I’ve never had any of my dogs bring a ‘catch’ inside. But there’s a dog going viral for bringing a ‘friend’ home and it’s hilarious!
TikToker @nicole.rich33 has an adorable pit bull named Boomer. Boomer is quite social and apparently makes all kinds of friends when he’s outside. The cute dog also has great ‘home-training’ as he seems to invite his friends over to hang out. The problem is that the friends that Boomer is meeting outside are wild animals. The video going viral is of Boomer, and a opossum, chilling on the sofa. Yup! The dog brought home a opossum to hang out!
According to @nicole.rich33, this is not the first time Boomer has brought a opossum home. He’s done it one other time. And when Boomer brings friends home, it’s in the middle of the night while his owner is sleeping. That’s a heck of a wake-up! Rolling into your living room to see your dog and a possum just chilling on your sofa!
In the video that’s going viral, you see Boomer and the opossum on the couch. The opossum is doing what it does best…playing dead. Boomer never harms any of his wildlife friends, just licks them and lets them hang on the sofa. I’ve never seen anything like this!! And Boomer is totally adorable while being scolded by his mom. You can’t help but love the dog!
The video has over a million views so far, and there’s now a part II, which shows Boomer’s human brother pushing the opossum off the sofa and into a waste basket. The opossum has no injuries and is now living back in the wild.
