Do you remember the thrill of poring over the toy-filled pages of the Sears Wish Book? Dating back to 1933, the Wish Book was as much of a holiday tradition as picking out the family Christmas tree. No red-blooded American child (or adult, for that matter) could resist leafing through Sears’ glossy gift-laden catalog. The struggling retailer hasn’t put out a Wish Book since 2011, but it’s back.
The 2017 edition isn’t quite as hefty as the ones I remember. The new Wish Book weighs in at about 120 pages and, of course, is also available online.
