Sure, it's only January but if you're already dreaming about summer vacation, it's time to start making plans. And, while the weather might be chilly now, you know we're only a few months away from Charlotte's oppressive heat and humidity. Here are some cool(er) U.S. cities to visit this summer:

Anchorage, AK - Hiking, biking, fishing, camping, even surfing, and daytime temperatures in the low-60s. The nearly 20 hours of daylight in the summer might be an adjustment.
