Row, Row, Row Your Bod For A Better Workout
While many of us are trying to figure out how to burn off the “COVID 15” we gained in the last year, there’s a relatively easy exercise to consider. Rowing! And you don’t even need a boat or natural body of water to do it.
According to Bustle, rowing is a great low impact exercise that you can do at the gym or at home. There are a number of benefits that you can’t overlook. Here are a few:
- Better cardio endurance
- Stress relief
- Increased strength
- Less stress on your body
- Stronger coordination
- It’s a full body workout
When I use the rowing machine at the YMCA, I last about ten minutes before I want to do something else. It can get a little tedious but I always feel better after rowing. Maybe I would like it even more if I were actually in a boat on the water. You can see more reasons why you should make rowing part of your workout routine HERE.
